CosaRara is a project born in 2005, the roots of the group are intimately bound (though not by birth, given the young age of the members) to the ’70s prog music.

The psychedelic and progressive vein of the band inevitably leads them to experiment with new musical languages, flowing at times into electronica, math and post-rock.

Six long instrumental tracks – with the exception of the brief interlude “Serenloonies” – that can flow in a single homogeneous mix or be individually listened to, each as a planet in its own, threaded by the band’s ability to overlap and merge various sound layers in an often surprising way.

In a nutshell, “CosaRara” will undoubtedly awaken the attention of the most hardened ‘proggers’ too!

CosaRara è un progetto nato nel 2005, le radici del gruppo sono legate intimamente (anche se non anagraficamente, data la giovane età dei componenti) al prog anni ’70.

La vena psichedelica e progressiva della band li porta inevitabilmente a sperimentare nuovi linguaggi sonori, sfumando a tratti nell’elettronica, nel math e nel post-rock.

Sei lunghe tracce strumentali – fatta eccezione per il breve interludio “Serenloonies” – che possono fluire in un unico ascolto omogeneo oppure essere ascoltate singolarmente, ognuna come un pianeta a sé stante, rivelando come filo conduttore l’abilità della band a sovrapporre e fondere vari strati di suono in modo spesso sorprendente.

Un disco, in estrema sintesi, che risveglierà senza dubbio l’attenzione anche dei ‘progger’ più incalliti!
